us with our daily needs providing lots of information.
But that was to technical. Not personal.

Suicide is not a tabu

Suicide is a matter of great importance. But even so, people tend to avoid talking about it.
With each other and, more importantly, with people that are in need of assistance.
And in many cases, this is the first step to help someone: talking and listening.
Based on this info, we teamed up with Libbs, a Brazilian pharmaceutical company that develops medicine for depression and other mental conditions, to develop a project focused on changing
this scenery.
My mission was to interview doctors, psychologists and patients, to build a creative concept that was strong enough to break this barrier, as well as friendly and easy to understand.
"Talking about suicide is not a tabu" ( Falar de suicídio não é tabu ) was the concept.
And this is the movement that took place afterwards.
The video manifest showed Carlinhos Brown ( a Brazilian singer and songwriter) alongside a choir, singing a powerful song to help people understand how important it was to talk and to listen to each other.
Their voice was heard. And people started booming their social media.
The partnership between Libbs and CVV ( the official center for the value of life ) grew even more
as new content was released.
This is the artboard and the manifest that started it all.
O suicídio não é um problema.
É um comportamento.
Que modifica o próprio comportamento.
Natural de cada ser humano
De diferentes raças.
Cores. Credos. Classes sociais.
Um furacão silencioso.
Um redemoinho mental.
Uma tormenta diária.
Que consome aos poucos.
Muitos brasileiros.
Envolto a mitos, cresce.
Consome e domina.
Filhos. Filhas. Pais e Mães. Famílias.
Que no denso silêncio, só encontram a dor.
Dor que se transforma em mais dor.
Mais silêncio. Mais sombra.
E menos luz no fim do túnel.
E no silêncio não existe solução.
Não existe esperança.
Só mais silêncio…
Por isso, preciso falar.
Que nós precisamos acabar
com o silêncio.
Pois, suicídio não é tabu.
